Outbreak – Zombie Outbreak Response Team 335 ZDC
I really have no idea what to make of
the information I read the other day. Surely there can't be a cover
up. That kinda shit only happens in the movies, right? No one would
be dumb enough to actually try and cover something up, especially
nothing this big and especially not a government agency. I admit with
that last thought a chill ran up my spine. If anyone was ever half
witted enough to try a mass cover up of this scale it would have to
be the government..... There does have to be some kind of connection
with the Bath Salts drug and what is happening world wide. The fact
that the skinhead morons we dispatched of were mostly all doped up on
it could be a coincidence. I could grant that possibility with the
exception of all the reports I could get my hands on the night of my
last entry all had at least one small note somewhere of Bath Salts
being in the vicinity.
I had noticed this before but shrugged
it off because, let's be honest, with the entire world rotting and
decaying all while trying to eat your ankles as you climb for higher
ground you might need something to take the edge off.
Today it's self was relatively
uneventful. I might even meander into calling it dull at best. I
spent most of my time cleaning, and cleaning, then more cleaning of
my Remington R11 RSASS. Sure it's not your standard .50 caliber
sniper setup but I prefer my 7.62x51 (.308) and zombies don't have
armor. Call me a simple country boy from southern Kentucky with only
slightly modern tastes. Never mind my being stationed in LA.
It was kinda hard being that close to home again when we were to the convention center knowing I had no family left to go visit. But, that is part of being a member of this elite unit, the Zombie Outbreak Response Team. The “Response” says it all. We go where needed, period. There are only five units consisting of ten men so we are almost constantly moving only coming to base for debriefing and any small amount of rest that is to be had.

I can only keep myself preoccupied for
so long until I start poking in places that might get me in serious
trouble depending on how huge this is. However, I have lost everyone
I loved in this shit hole of a mess and if it was caused by someone
or could have been avoided in some way and someone knew it..... I
want to know.
